We will be mixing Acrylic paints:
How many times did you want to mix a certain color only to get something that looks like mud?

Did you know that black and yellow makes a very nice olive green? Learn this and much more at the class.

What you will need.
Primary Colors: " Red, Yellow, Blue. (You just learned something, if you already didn't know. ;)
A small tube of Black and larger tube of White. You always use more white than any other color.
(You may refer to the acrylic painting class for colors.)

Bring any brushes you may have.
Paper Palette, or something flat to mix paints on.
One Canvas Panel: A Canvas Panel is primed canvas wrapped around thick cardboard
(no smaller than 11x14") A little larger is better, give yourself some room to experiment. Very inexpensive. You will make graduated paint swatches on your canvas panel and make notes in pencil on the canvas, on what colors you mixed.
(Trust me, you will refer to this project over and over when you paint your next masterpiece!)
A tin can or something to put water in. Paper towels. Or old towel or tee-shirt.
