"Bluebird New Year"

Dear Friends,
I trust you had a great New Year! I took a family hiatus that I dearly needed. Family and friends are so very important!
In the photos below, the Bluebirds are having a few problems at the suet feeder.

Check out the male BB, he is giving that Hairy Woodpecker a piece of his mind!

		" Little Downy! Move it, or lose it!

The little Nuthatch in the background of the photo is in the jet propulsion mode.


	"Quick, grab a bite before anyone else comes in!"

"I'm such a glutton!"

"Oh, here comes that
Hairy Woodpecker again!"

"Flank em! And I'll give him a frontal assault!"

What a sight to see these bluebirds in action!
But, I don't think the Hairy Woodpecker was very worried.

"I'm going to tell you something,...
Mr. Hairy Woodpecker!

I may be little,
but I'm mighty!

So, move over!"


		"Humm....what do I spy with my little eye?"

If you every wondered why they call this bird a 'Red-bellied Woodpecker",
now you can see for yourself. :)

move over Bluebird!"


		"We give...!"

BTY...See the top of the Red-bellied's head?
If it was totally red on top...it would be a male. She's a tough girl!

"Well, honey ...
It was good
while it lasted!."

"WOW, what a pig! Geezz!"

"Mrs. Red-belly, sure had fun with the Bluebird family today.
It was amusing to watch!"

Notice, the total Red head on this guy.

"I may have lost the battle,
but I haven't lost the war!

I'll kick his feathery butt next time!"

LOL! I hope you enjoyed this edition.

We all lose sometimes....But ya gotta
come back swinging. (Not literally)
