"Snow Day"

Howdy, Friends and Neighbors!
A few days ago, it snowed here in Tennessee. Little sparkling diamonds glistening in the sun! For some of our little friends at TAW, this was the first time they had experienced snow! Do you remember the first time? Or, watched a little child or puppy play in it for the first time? What fun!

The 'Keeper of the Woods' explained to the little finch that it's called snow, and it's Mother Nature's way of telling the earth to rest up for spring.

These two woodpeckers are very similar in coloring with one big difference.

The bigger birds are just more than she can handle.

Gee wiz....
It sure was fun watching our feathered friends hoping in all that white stuff. I sure am glad that we wear shoes! It made my feet cold just seeing them out there. Maybe that's why they hop so fast!

Have you ever made a snow angel? Maybe as a kid you did. Have you made one lately? I dare you!
