"Adjust and Adapt"

Howdy Birder,
Well, it snowed here at T.A.W. last week. And our little friends shivered a bit and fluffed their feathers. They adapt very well to our goofy weather patterns.
It has been in the teen's one week and T-shirt weather the next. That's one
thing you can count on here is the uncertain ability of our Tennessee weather!

Mouse Over
"Oooo...
the sky is falling!"
"What is that down there?"
Tuffted Titmouse
"This is new!"
A very dear friend of Two Acre Wood made this
wonderful suet feeder!
What a creative mind. Thanks Rick!
Tuffted Titmouse with a prize! ;)
"I love it
when she puts out peanuts for us!"
It didn't take them very long before they were jumping everywhere! Sometimes it take a few days until they accept a new feeder.
But apparently they loved this one!
Nuthatch on the left, American Goldfinch on the right and the backside of a Titmouse.
Female Red-Bellied Woodpecker.....and the backside of a...yes, Titmouse.
The American Goldfinch is doing a tap dance for us! Do-DA.
Male, Eastern Bluebird
Mouse Over
"Loads of seed, however,
I prefer the suet!"

Have you seen the "Bluebird of Happiness" watercolor?

It's funny how things change but still stay the same.
It just could be our perception of the event or the circumstances.
How many times have you looked at the clock when you are having fun, and the time seems to fly by? Then when you are involved with something mundane or not to your liking, time just drags by, like a reluctant mule.
Everything is the same, with exception of your perception!
Our minds play tricks on us, don't succumb to it's little jokes, not unless you are enjoying the journey.

Your friend in nature,
Patty Peeples
