Hello,
my friends!
I couldn't resist putting up the photo of the Jay with the peanut.
I hope you checked out my newest watercolor masterpiece, "Peanut
tug-o-war".
I sure had fun with it!
Besides the shots of the Jay, titmouse, and chipmunk, munching on
peanuts, we have new arrivals to TAW. There are bunches of American
goldfinches, a few Indigo buntings and several Rose-breasted Grosbeaks.
I know that you are excited with your new arrivals coming in
get out your field guide!

"Humm...How
do I grab all of the peanuts? If I don't, Jay will get them!" |

It
was so funny...The Titmouse, couldn't open his mouth wide enough.
So, he stabbed the peanut with his beak.
He did manage to grab all three peanuts.

The
Indigo Buntings are so stunning.
That blue stands out like a frog in the middle of a bunch of school
girls! ;)

Well,
the Rose-breasted Grosbeaks are always a welcome sight.
Here
in Tennesse, I spotted my first one
the first week in April.
If you live north of us, they are coming your way.
Heck, they are probably already there!

Update
on the Possum and baby bird; They
are doing well ....eating and growing!
They will be just fine.
So...What
do you do when someone takes something from you?
Do you give in? Do you get it back? Do you work it out?
It seems that we are all are in a Tug-o-war with everything we do,
starting with our emotions to every day things in life. Let's all
try and come to a balance with it.
I know, I try every day.
Your friend in nature,
Patty Peeples
